Be Committed

“It isn’t the mountains ahead to climb that wear you out, it’s the pebble in your shoe”  (Muhammad Ali)

Distractions, whether physical or psychological, hold you back, steal your dreams and allow procrastination

Most children have dreams of their future life, when we become adults we call them objectives (don’t sound as much fun)

Ali’s statement is about the need to build discipline and preparation into our outlook.  How many times do you take that call, check Instagram, search for an irrelevant form and so on.

Keep sight of your goal, starting that business, saving for that house, taking that family holiday

Emotional wellbeing is vital to climbing your mountain.  Getting rid of those pebbles (stress, anxiety and self-doubt) is essential.  For every negative thought, you need to replace it with a positive one.  For every doubt, remind yourself of your skills

Lighten the load.   Grow.   Be Epic
